About

Community Development Society was started in the year 1977 with an aim to work for the upliftment of the marginalized in the society by way of providing Education. To achieve that St. Peter’s School was established in the year 1979 with a vision to provide education to children. The founder Mr. P Jacob Dhanaraj’s vision was to educate all students to the highest levels of academic achievement, to enable them to reach and expand their potential, and to prepare them to become productive, responsible, ethical, creative and compassionate members of society.

Since then we are seeking to achieve that vision by evolving ourselves with practices to support this environment by building a more inclusive curriculum and addressing a range of learning styles.

The mission of our school is to empower all students and colleagues to embrace learning, achieve their personal best and build their emotional, social and physical well-being. Everyone associated with our school strives for it in whatever he / she does.

Our goal is to constantly support and nurture the children’s and our own natural desire to be life-long learners. We are committed to the families we serve, providing support and encouragement by understanding, guiding and strengthening them.

Very clear goals and objectives which are communicated to the staff, students and parents.

Great leadership from the principal: The principal is both instructional leader and manager of the school. This is what drives continual improvement in teaching and learning throughout the school.

The curriculum is rigorous and teacher performance is regularly monitored by the principal and executive staff.
